Haven, CT. Before that he was CEO of Paradigm Labs, a lab based in Oradell, NJ. Prior to that he was the Chief Operating Officer of
Osiris Corporation, a public company based in New York City with
operations in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia. Ilan has over 15
years of experience in operations management of small and
medium-size companies. Prior to joining Osiris, he was VP of
Operations for Laurus Capital
Management, a multi-billion dollar
hedge fund. At Laurus, Ilan was responsible for managing the
fund's distressed investments, and handled numerous
restructurings and turnaround situations, in addition to other
responsibilities. Ilan is a private pilot, and while on the
ground he enjoys boating, scuba diving, skiing and gourmet
cooking. He is also the Darden Israeli Chapter President. Ilan
resides with his wife and daughter in New Jersey.
Hadar is currently the Managing Partner of a newly formed
private equity fund named TADLAN
Capital. Uzi has over 10 years
of Wall Street investment banking and private equity related
experience, and brings to bear his expertise in ISR/US deal
making and corporate developments. Uzi represented Jefferies
& Co. in Israel and is a former investment banker with
Lehman Brothers, NYC and Thomas Weisel Partners in San
Francisco. Prior to Darden, Uzi began his career in the
Financial Advisory Services group at PWC, LA providing due
diligence and business valuation services to Private Equity
firms. Uzi is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), the standard
professional excellence in the world of portfolio management,
investment research, advisory services and investment banking.
Uzi holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of
Southern California (USC), where he played water-polo and won
the NCAA Championship tournament MVP and All-American
Gera is an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management and
Entrepreneurship at Drexel University
since September 2009. He received his Ph.D. from the University
of Maryland. Azi is researching firm interactions under
conditions of information asymmetry and ambiguity. Specifically,
he is studying how startups attract investments from VCs and
Business Angels. His research on the role of business plans in
securing VC investments was featured in the NY Times,
International Herald Tribune, Haa'retz and other international
to academia, Azi consulted several entrepreneurial startups in
the US and Israel. Before entering Darden, Azi worked at Amdocs Ltd
as an on-site team leader, and other hi-tech firms in R&D.
In addition, he served as an
intelligence officer at the Israeli Air Force and was honorably
discharged at the rank of Major. He currently
lives outside of Philadelphia, is married and is the father of
Shaked was raised in Boston, MA before moving to Israel in 2007. Adi currently works at
SCPVitalife, a venture capital firm that invests in medical technology companies where Adi assesses potential investments, conducts detailed due diligence and works with existing portfolio companies. Prior to joining SCPVitalife, Adi was product/marketing manager at
Medtronic in the U.S where she worked in the Cardiovascular Division. Prior to joining Medtronic, Adi was a senior consultant at
Navigant Consulting. Adi holds a B.A in Economics and a minor in Spanish from Boston University where graduated with Summa Cum Laude Honors. Adi speaks English, Hebrew and Spanish fluently and currently lives in Israel.
Hong-Kong, Elad is an Executive Director responsible for covering
Technology companies in APAC for JPMorgan. In
his role, Elad provides strategic advisory and capital raising
services for technology companies across APAC. Previously, Elad
spent more than six years with JPMorgan's Technology, Media
& Telecom (TMT) investment banking group in New York,
primarily focused on coverage of technology companies across US,
EMEA and Israel. Elad has over 11 years of capital markets
experience and has completed a variety of M&A transactions,
as well as public and private debt, equity and equity-linked
financings for companies globally.
Elad joined J.P. Morgan in 2005. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan,
he spent four years with Migdal Capital Markets, which is the
investment management arm of the largest insurance company in
Israel, as a portfolio manager. Prior to that, Elad served four
years in the Israel Defense Force (IDF) and was honorably
discharged as a lieutenant.
Elad holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Accounting from

Salomon is an Associate in the Investment Banking and Merchant
Banking divisions of Ladenburg

technology, media and telecom industries. Prior to joining
Ladenburg, Menashe spent three years as an associate in the
Mergers & Acquisitions group at Lehman Brothers, and subsequently
at Barclays Capital, where he covered clients in the media and
telecom industries. Menashe
has experience in M&A advisory, public and private equity
offerings, equity-linked products, investment grade debt and
high yield debt. Prior to Darden, Menashe was a Project Engineer
for Clark Construction in Washington, DC. Menashe also holds BS
and MS degrees in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Geifman currently works for Eyeblaster,
a leader in Internet advertising. His main focus is on
quantitative marketing and marketing effectiveness studies.
Before returning to Israel, Ariel had several years of
consulting experience working in the US for major pharmaceutical
clients on marketing and sales effectiveness optimization.
Vortmann currently works at AT Kearney as a management
consultant, where he has contributed to the collapse of numerous
companies who would apparently have otherwise survived even the
current economic crisis. Prior to coming to Darden where he gave
new meaning to the combination of the Israeli-Russian descent,
Arik was a professional gambler, dealing primarily in
female-chicken-fights in the rural outskirts of Bat Yam. Arik
moved to Israel after a heroic escape from the clasp of the KGB,
following the unraveling of a fraudulent scheme that included
the over-harvesting of wild mushrooms in the forests of Moscow.
He currently lives in New York and to his friends' surprise, has
recently succeeded in convincing an attractive and intelligent
woman to marry him.

Prior to joining Deloitte and During his second year at Darden, Ariel collaborated with two Venture Capital funds, helping in the definition of a new fund for Latin America, and analyzing the viability of an clean energy projects in Central America. Prior to Darden, Ariel spent almost three years as a management consultant at
Accenture, covering the telecomm and Hi-Tech industry. Ariel was born in México City,
and spent his childhood (eight years) in Israel.
Upon graduation, Arnie joined joined Retail
Relay, an online grocery startup with national ambitions, as
their Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Darden, Arnie served for 5
years in the Israeli military as a manufacturing engineer and
department head, where he led an initiative to rebuild the
manufacturing floor and automate a formerly-manual processes.
Later, Arnie worked for Kodak, heading the customer support
efforts for a new product line. In the summer between 1st &
2nd year at Darden, Arnie interned at McKinsey & Company in
their Detroit office. Arnie holds a Bachelor of Science degree
in Information Systems from the Technion, and resides in beautiful Charlottesville,
home to Darden and the University of Virginia, where his wife
Mor is completing her PhD.

Eli graduated from Tel Aviv University in June 2006 with a BA in
Economics. Prior to his studies, Eli served in the Israeli Air
Force as a combat helicopter pilot and completed several
leadership positions at the Air Force headquarters. He was born
in Ukraine and came to Israel at the age of 17. Eli is
currently living in Durham, North Carolina with his wife and 2
a Product Manager at Model N. Oren serves as the VP of
Partnerships and Alliances for the San Francisco Darden Alumni
Chapter. At Darden, Oren served as the VP of Corporate Relations

Equity and Energy clubs. Prior to Darden, Or worked at Deloitte
as a consultant, serving multinational clients from diverse
industries. Preceding to his experience at Deloitte, Or worked
at a boutique investigative accounting firm, uncovering fraud,
money laundering and misappropriation of funds and assets. Or
completed his undergraduate education at the Hebrew University
of Jerusalem, completing a dual major Bachelor degree in
Economics and Accounting, Or is also a CISA and is an active

Edasis was born and raised in NYC before moving to Israel.
He served in the Israeli Military as a combat medic and as an
officer in a joint Israeli-Palestinian team. Guy holds B.A. (cum
laude) from the IDC with a major in finance, entrepreneurship
and strategy. He was part of the Sam Zell excellence program
which helped him acquire knowledge in practical and theoretical
aspects of entrepreneurship. Prior to Darden Guy worked as a project
manager for a boutique consulting company. After his MBA Guy
held a position of Marketing Director at ODIN technologies, an
INC 500 Start-Up and the leader in RFID software and solutions
for healthcare, government, aerospace and social media.
Currently Guy is living in Chicago and holds a position of
General Manager for New York at Groupon.
Friedman was born
and raised in Israel, where he served five years in an elite unit
in the Israel Defense Forces as a team leader and deputy company
commander, and worked three more years in Israeli Intelligence. He
completed his LL.B. with a minor in Economics at Bar-Ilan
University and worked as an intern in Hermetic Trust Services Ltd.
After completing the Israeli Bar Exams, Roy worked as a corporate
lawyer in Ben-Naftali, Erez, Zahavi & Co. in Tel Aviv. During
the summer of 2010, Roy married Alina, a local from
Charlottesville, and decided to attend Darden in order to reshape
his leadership skills. Roy enjoys gourmet food, cooking and
sports. He has so far completed two international Marathons and is
planning a bike tour in Europe for summer 2011.

organizations with $5M budget and hundreds of workers: a student
Association and a Sports Association. Ori chaired directorate of
$8M in-house office products supplier chain-company, managed
fund-raising and created efficiency improvement processes. He
initiated successful campaigns for the rights of veterans and
common law couples. Before that, Ori served at the IDF as an
elite infantry fighter, executed combat operations and
pre-deployment weapon systems training. Ori enjoys travelling,
swimming, painting and working out.
